Most Americans are not aware that the smoke trailing off the lit end of a cigarette is a toxic fog of gases including ammonia, carbon monoxide and hydrogen cyanide. And while this fog is harmful to all people, it is even more dangerous to children due to their smaller lung capacity. Whats more, the majority of parents who smoke underestimate the effects of it on their children, and 54% do not have rules against smoking in the house.
