One thing I learned from spending time with my mom before she passed away is that you can not “bottle moments” for later. What I mean by this is that it is not always the best thing to write everything down or tape record loved one’s voices -no matter how much you want to. I tried to do this and it made my mom feel weird. What is most important is for you to spend time with your loved one and to make them feel as comfortable as possible.
